Using organic marshmallows and pieces of fruit, you can quickly and easily make a delicious candy skewer that you can prepare on the Big Green Egg. This sweet delicacy is not only a treat for kids but for grown-ups as well!
INGREDIENTS
For the skewers
- ½ watermelon
- 1 small pineapple
- 1 packet of organic marshmallows
PREPARATION
- Fire up the Big Green Egg and wait until the charcoal starts to glow. Peel the watermelon and pineapple and cut the fruit into blocks of around 4 cm. Discard the hard core of the pineapple.
- Jab pieces of fruit and marshmallows onto long wooden skewers (e.g. candyfloss sticks).
- Carefully grill the skewers in the (open) EGG until the marshmallows become soft. Allow this delicious treat to cool slightly before serving.
