Chicken wings with lemon,garlic and thyme

This easy-to-prepare and delicious recipe for chicken wings with lemon, garlic and thyme would definitely fit the bill. First you marinate the chicken with the spices and then you grill it until done. A great recipe to enjoy together with family and friends!
For the chicken wings
- 8 chicken wings
- 1 clove of garlic
- 10 sprigs of thyme
- Finely grated zest of ½ organic lemon
- 25 ml olive oil
PREPARATION IN ADVANCE
- Place the chicken wings in a bowl. Peel and mince the garlic. Pull off the thyme leaves and chop finely. Mix with the grated lemon zest and the olive oil, add salt and pepper to taste. Brush this mixture onto the chicken wings. Cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (or longer).
- Ignite the charcoal in the Big Green Egg, place the Stainless Steel Grid and heat to a temperature of 170 °C.
- Place the chicken wings on the grid, close the lid of the EGG and grill for approx. 25 minutes until golden brown and done. Turn the chicken wings every so often during grilling.
