Mackerel:back on the menu
Mackerel consumption has really taken off in recent years. Alongside ready-to-eat smoked, steamed and pickled versions, mackerel is increasingly purchased fresh so people can prepare it themselves at home. Which preparations are possible on the Big Green Egg® besides grilling and smoking? Ralph de Kok went out with fisherman Lasse and, once they had returned to shore, prepared the catch in three different ways.
