Dual Zone Deflector Kit

The Dual Zone Deflector Kit, consisting of a stainless steel Deflector Basket and 2 ceramic Split Deflectors, makes cooking on the Big Green Egg even easier and more versatile. It is the ideal way to expand the cooking surface of this kamado, while at the same time cooking dishes directly and indirectly and at different levels. Would you like to add smoking wood, for example, or cook caveman-style while grilling? Thanks to the practical handles, you can lift the basket out of the EGG safely and quickly in one go, and put it back on just as easily.

• Place the Split Deflectors on the bottom level of the Deflector Basket to create a full heat shield for indirect cooking. This allows you to achieve a full indirect zone without obstructing airflow.
• Place 1 Split Deflector on the bottom level of the Deflector Basket to create a direct and indirect zone.
• Expand the cooking surface by placing the 2-Piece Multi Level Rack on top of the Deflector Basket.
• Mix and match various cooking techniques. In addition to the Split Deflectors and Half Stainless Steel Grids, use the Half Cast Iron Grid, Half Cast Iron Plancha and Half Perforated Grid for infinite possibilities.
