All Eggs come standard with a stainless steel draft door, a stainless steel cooking grid, a special weather-proof temperature probe, a multifunctional cast-iron daisy wheel and a very strong double glaze coating for maximum protection against wind and weather.

The Small comes with a handy spring-assisted band that can be used to open and close the ceramic lid with one hand. A solid base on castors raises the Egg to a comfortable working height and makes it easier to move from place to place. The Small is the smallest Egg model that can accommodate a Plate Setter. It is virtually indispensable for indirect cooking.

Handy synthetic side shelves and a practical, thick vinyl cover are optionally available. See 'Expand' under accessories.

The Small weighs 35kg, and with a 33cm cooking grid, it is compact but offers plenty of space to cook for 4 to 6 people. It can easily accommodate a whole chicken and about 2 to 3kg of meat on the grid, which you can cook at low temperature or grill in smaller pieces.
